“My exchange year has definitely helped me grow as a global person and at the same time made me appreciate my home country. A highlight of my exchange year was the time I spent with my host family. Although I am not blood-related to my host family, I consider them my family and we are still frequently in touch even 3 years later. There is no better feeling than having a place to go back any time I want. I am currently studying International Business at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. I was able to succeed and make the most out of my exchange year thanks to my host family.”
