America has always been a fascination for me. For half a year, I stayed with a warm and loving host family on a beautiful island called Bainbridge Island. I made lots of friends with whom I’m still in touch. Looking back, I can say that my decision to become an English teacher was highly influenced by an inspiring literature teacher at my high school.
