“Being an exchange student with NWSE has been a life-changing experience for me. For the first time in my life I got out of my comfort zone to go abroad.

America has always been a fascination for me. For half a year, I stayed with a warm and loving host family on a beautiful island called Bainbridge Island. I made lots of friends with whom I’m still in touch. Looking back, I can say that my decision to become an English teacher was highly influenced by an inspiring literature teacher at my high school. All in all, I believe that my time abroad has positively shaped who I am today.”
